I am exploring ideas on the best way to approach this. I've seen bucket versions and aluminum versions, but without access to an easy way of manipulating aluminum to form a box, I am open to any and all opinions. Went and had a talk with Hunter Valley Sheetmetal in Singleton about making up the highbanker. He gave me a price of between $150-$200 for the basic sluice, the hopper and the leg supports all welded together. I didn't think that was too bad of a price. I will let you know the final price once he finishes it in a couple of weeks.

Make the bottom hopper longer than the top hopper by at least 100mm. This is done so that the legs can be angled and sit on the ground ahead of the top hopper.

Mine is the one with the upper larger sluice for bigger rocks, larger sluice below for fines with a nice smooth flow not this new stuff with kinks.
